Bay City Police are rolling out their Bike Patrol unit once again, aiming to boost visibility and strengthen community ties. Chief Christella Rodriguez introduced the newly certified officers, who are now equipped to patrol local neighborhoods, parks, and downtown areas. The unit will be especially active during parades, festivals, Halloween, and other public events. Bike Patrol makes officers more approachable and helps them reach areas that are harder for patrol cars to navigate. The department sees this as a step forward in keeping Bay City safe and connected.
