Bay City’s Aquacats are making waves this summer, with 27 swimmers heading to the CCAA Regional meet at the Lamar CISD Natatorium in Rosenberg. The team will face off against nine other squads, hoping to earn more state qualifications. Ten local athletes, including Kasen Coney, Callie George, and Lillian Wurtz, have already secured their spots at state. Head Coach Grace Gibbens, along with assistants Lucie Frick, Sergio Rodriguez, and Victoria Sliva, leads the team through another strong season of local pride and competitive spirit.
