Bay City native Zoe Cadore, a graduate of Bay City High School, has officially announced her run for U.S. Congress in Texas’ 18th District. She will speak tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Matagorda County Democratic Party meeting at Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille in Bay City. Cadore has a strong background in energy policy and public service, having worked in federal affairs for Houston-based Calpine Corporation and served on boards like the Houston Ballet. Raised locally, she emphasizes healthcare access, support for minority businesses, and investment in the arts as key campaign priorities.
