Water Conservation Art Contest

The Lavaca-Navidad River Authority wrapped up its 22nd Annual Water Conservation Poster Contest for Jackson County sixth graders. Students from Edna and Industrial ISDs submitted 177 posters promoting smart water use. Riley Scar of Edna and Zowie Gray of Industrial took top honors for their schools. LNRA praised the creativity and stressed the importance of conserving clean, usable water for the future. All participants received ribbons, and top winners advanced to county-wide judging.
