Pro wrestling returns to Wharton Saturday as New Texas Pro hosts “True Grit” at the Civic Center. The event backs the Wharton Police’s Blue Santa Project, which gives toys to over 1,000 local kids each year. After a packed house in February, organizers promise more action, more stars, and bigger support. Wrestlers and police will also visit Wharton Elementary for an anti-bullying rally. Tickets start at $10, with half going to the toy drive. Doors open at 6 p.m.
