St. Philip the Apostle Catholic School in El Campo will welcome Kathleen M. Jahn as its new principal this July. Jahn brings over 30 years of education experience, most recently serving as deputy superintendent in Alief ISD. She replaces Gwen Edwards, who retires after 25 years at St. Philip, including 18 as principal. Jahn, who has roots in Catholic education, is earning her doctorate from Marymount University. Father Dalton Ervin says she’s committed to blending faith and learning for local students.
