Shop With a Cop awarded $18,900 in scholarships to Matagorda County students, continuing its mission to support local youth. Since ’13, the organization has provided school supplies, Christmas gifts, and scholarships to help students succeed. This year’s awards include two special memorial scholarships honoring fallen officers Detective Armando Galvan and Detective Juan Delgado, both dedicated to supporting local youth. Madelyn Wollam received the Galvan Memorial Scholarship, while Kayla Villafuerte was honored with the Delgado Memorial Scholarship.
