Longtime Wharton business owner AJ Rath was honored for 57 years of service in the community during the Wharton Chamber of Commerce awards event recently. Executive Director Karen Smith presented the award at the St. Patrick’s Day-themed gathering at the Wharton Civic Center. Jim Williams of V-8 Ranch received Agriculture Business of the Year. Several other awards recognized local businesses and leaders for their contributions.
