The PID would speed up developer reimbursements compared to tax increment reinvestment zones. Property owners would cover costs through assessments. Proposed amenities include a walking trail and fishing pond. If approved, work starts April 15th after a 20-day wait. The council also delayed voting on an Efficiency Task Force due to absences. Meanwhile, Bay City’s development board approved a $15 million aquatic center, set to open July 27th.
