After over 50 years of service, Matagorda County Sheriff Frank “Skipper” Osborne is retiring. In a packed courtroom, Osborne expressed his gratitude and readiness to leave, confident in Sheriff Rick DeLeon’s abilities. Osborne, who began his career in the U.S. Marines and joined the Sheriff’s Office in ’85, was honored for his dedication.
