The Edna City Council approved the request after owner Tiffany Laredo explained the need for extended hours during events like the Super Bowl, Halloween, or major UFC fights, which often run past midnight. Currently, the bar closes at midnight on weekends. Laredo emphasized that the extra hour would help close tabs smoothly without rushing customers out. The council approved the measure after brief discussion.
