Jose Miguel “Mike” Salazar of Edna was indicted for the murder of Jasmine Ramirez and aggravated assault. The indictment alleges that on October 16th, Salazar beat Ramirez and ran her over with a vehicle while intoxicated with two children present. He was arrested the following day on Highway 59 near County Road 300. Salazar faces up to 99 years in prison if convicted of these first-degree felonies. Investigators were on the scene for most of October 17th.
