On Friday, the Warrior’s Weekend buses will roll through Jackson County for the 18th consecutive year, inviting residents to support local veterans. As the convoy heads to Port O’Connor for a fishing tournament, citizens will gather in patriotic attire along the route through Ganado, Edna, and Inez, arriving in Victoria’s Field of Honor. The veterans will gather at Prasek’s in Hillje before departing. They expect to pass through Ganado around 12:30 p.m. and Edna at 1 p.m. Donations and volunteer opportunities can be found at warriorsweekend.org.
