Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser

Bay City’s Sunshine and Rainbows Academy wrapped up its 35th annual Pumpkin Patch fundraiser, with local volunteers and community groups coming together for the event. Hosted by the First United Methodist Church, the fall tradition featured 1,080 pumpkins sold, surpassing last year’s total. Parents, grandparents, and local organizations like 4H and Boy Scouts helped set up and run the event, which included hayrides, bounce houses, and homemade goods. The funds raised go directly into supporting the preschool’s programs, students, and teachers, making it the school’s largest fundraiser of the year.
