The Bay City Police Department recently celebrated several promotions and welcomed a new police chaplain. Detective Stephen Lunsford was promoted to Lieutenant in Support Services, while Corporal Robert Pierce became a Sergeant in the Criminal Investigations Division. Detective Richard Morales was promoted to Corporal in the same division. Chief Christella Rodriguez also swore in James King as the department’s newest Police Chaplain. City officials, staff, and family members attended the ceremony, showing strong community support for the officers and the new chaplain.
