Bay City police are seeking witnesses to a fatal accident on 8th Street Sunday morning. A 51-year-old Brazoria man was hit while fixing his trailer’s taillight. The driver tried to avoid him but failed, causing the man to be struck and hit his trailer. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at Matagorda Regional Hospital.
