Business is booming in Jackson County. The May sales tax report shows a 24.7% increase from last year, with the county receiving $148,771.51. Year-to-date, sales tax receipts are up 23.84%. Edna also saw growth, with a 7.02% increase for the year. Ganado’s sales tax receipts dropped 30.35% in May and 29.93% for the year. The June report will be posted on August 9th.
