The Palacios Police Department is offering a Citizen Police Academy for adults interested in learning more about local law enforcement. The six-week course, held Monday evenings at the Pavilion, covers patrol procedures, traffic enforcement, and more. Participants will engage in lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. After completing the course, graduates may join the Citizen’s on Patrol Program, assisting with traffic control during major events. Applications are due by October 18th.
