Daniel Rivera, 48, from Victoria, was arrested for assault after allegedly punching his sister in the face and trying to attack her while she was on the ground. Rivera’s sister said he got upset over dirty laundry, punched her, and stepped on her foot. Rivera resisted arrest but was eventually taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest. He was booked into Victoria County Jail.
