In El Campo, Jaylin Makhi Hawkins, 20, admitted to taping children changing clothes and received 10 years of probation instead of prison. He cannot visit places involving children, live near schools, or use the internet freely. He must register as a sex offender, get counseling, and perform 500 hours of community service. His crimes were discovered when his phone was found recording in a girls’ dressing room at El Campo High School.
