FEMA is arriving in Wharton County to assist with disaster unemployment insurance after Hurricane Beryl. They will set up at El Campo’s Northside Center and another site in Wharton. FEMA will help with claims and offer low-interest loans for property damage. Residents should document all damages. The Texas Workforce Commission is accepting Disaster Unemployment Assistance applications.
