After Hurricane Beryl caused power outages in Ganado, Jackson County’s Assistant Emergency Management Coordinator used AT&T FirstNet to maintain communication. FirstNet, a priority service for first responders, was deployed quickly. After a request at 11 p.m., a mobile tower was set up by 9:30 a.m. the next morning. This ensured continuous communication for local emergency services until power was restored.
