In Bay City, two health organizations are gathering dolls and stuffed toys for dementia patients. They’re calling it the Dolls for Dementia Drive, and it’s happening thru June 28th. These soft toys help calm patients who struggle with communication and emotions. The drive, which spans a 60-mile area, aims to collect more toys this year to reach more facilities and patients during Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.
