Wharton County Junior College cowboys had a recent successful trip to the College Rodeo National Finals in Wyoming. Zeke Martinez, a Pioneer sophomore, secured the Reserve National Champion Bull Riding Title, missing the top spot by just one point. His impressive performance included an 86-point ride in the short round. Fellow Pioneer Spiner Burger also competed, finishing ninth overall with 75 points
