Armando Cervantes, of Victoria, was arrested for assaulting a family member. He struck the family member with his fist and a 2×4. The incident occurred after an argument about Cervantes not being allowed at the residence. Police found a blood-stained 2×4 and a witness confirmed the assault. Later, Cervantes was found intoxicated, shirtless, and bleeding on the road. He was arrested and taken to Victoria County Jail.
