In Matagorda County, 16 students from five local schools were celebrated for completing the first Matagorda County Youth Leadership Program. They learned about local government, industries, and nonprofits from leaders like County Judge Seiferman and Bay City Community Development Executive Director Jessica Russell. Seiferman initiated the program to show students the opportunities in their county.
