El Campo celebrated a big win for its streets. Mayor Bustamante and Kevin Thompson, the Public Works Director, were at a special event where they got a check for over 1.5 million dollars from the state’s land office. This money is going to fix up the old drains and sewers on the south side of town, making sure the roads stay clear and dry when it rains.
