A Wednesday evening crash involving a teenager from Boling and a Wharton Police officer sent both to the hospital. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident. The crash occurred around 7:35 p.m. on FM 1301. The teen, driving a Hyundai, failed to yield and hit a police SUV. Both drivers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Oak Bend Hospital.
