Over $50,000 is missing from El Campo Chamber of Commerce, but officials say it’s not why former Chamber President Rebecca Munos resigned suddenly. El Campo city is reviewing to ensure hotel taxes weren’t part of the theft. Police are investigating but no arrests yet. The missing money covers from March 19, 2002, to April 19 of this year.
