Wharton County Junior College is hosting a jazz concert featuring tunes from the 40s and 50s. It’s happening at the Duson-Hansen Fine Arts building, with two shows on April 9th at 3 and 7 p.m. The event is free, and there’s a special guest who hasn’t played in over 20 years. The band director, Joe Waldrop, will also join in, making it a rare treat for music lovers.
