El Campo Bowling Center wrapped up a big makeover and threw a party on Saturday. Kids got to bowl at no cost while local chefs battled it out in a chili cook-off. The center, which just spent $400,000 on updates, combined the celebration with their yearly chili contest. Thirty-six teams cooked chili and sides, with Hardheaded Cookers winning first prize.
