Wharton city has new rules. Dumping yard waste in the street is now illegal. This includes leaves, grass, and other plant stuff. Contractors must clean mud off their vehicles before driving on public roads. They also can’t leave concrete spillage on streets. If you break these rules, you could be fined up to $2,000. These changes start on March 21st.
