Boling wants to build a new elementary school. They’re asking voters to approve a $40.5 million bond in May. The current school, Newgulf Elementary, is old and needs replacing. If passed, property taxes would increase by about $.50 per $100 of home value. This means the average homeowner’s taxes could go up from $1,500 to $2,700.
