City Council Doings

El Campo city council discussed progress on a crucial project Monday night. They’re planning to replace the aging Avenue F water well, which dates back to 1949 and is on the verge of failure. Last year, they secured land for the new well site, near Prosperity Bank. Also on the agenda: steps for a $206,000 grant to update the city’s plan, a Fair Housing Month proclamation, and a request to delay an AEP rate change.
