The Wharton County Youth Fair is back with a BBQ cook-off this weekend. For the first time, there’s a margarita contest on Friday night. Saturday’s competition includes chili, beans, ribs, chicken, and brisket. Winners get cash prizes, with the top brisket cook winning $2,000. The overall winner gets a Texas-shaped cutting board. Judging starts Saturday at 11 AM, with awards at 4 PM.
