El Campo Police are switching back to white and blue patrol cars. The current black cars will be replaced as they retire. The new colors are more visible, which can help deter crime and prevent accidents. A new Dodge Charger is already sporting the new look. More cars, like a Chevrolet Tahoe, will follow soon. The department prefers SUVs, but due to market constraints, they sometimes have to settle for what’s available.
