Bay City cop Marino Chavez got promoted to sergeant after nine years on the force. He’s been a SWAT team member, field training officer, and corporal. He’s a local guy, with a degree in criminal justice and lots of leadership training. He’s excited about his new role and is committed to serving his community and being a role model for his kids and younger officers.
