El Campo City Council unanimously denied Vape City’s request to open a smoke shop at 1406 N. Mechanic. The council was concerned about the health and safety of the youth in the community. The council’s decision will help reduce access to vaping devices and support school initiatives to decrease student use of vapes and negative consequences that follow.
