When a dog attacked his mom, 13-year-old Adin from El Campo knew to call 9-1-1. At the last city council meeting, he received a Young Hero award. His mom, Savana, had been attacked while caring for pets. Adin calmly called for help and directed responders to their location. Despite his mom’s urging, he stayed with her until help arrived. She’s now recovering after surgery.
