A barn in Bay City caught fire on New Year’s Eve due to improperly discarded fireworks, causing around $100,000 in damages, including a boat, a UTV, and water well equipment. Despite efforts by the owner and local fire departments, the fire couldn’t be controlled immediately. No serious injuries were reported, but the owner suffered minor burns.
