Bay City School District got a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to replace 10 old school buses with new electric ones. This not only includes the cost of the buses but also the charging infrastructure. They’re one of three districts in the state to get this grant. The new buses will be running by early 2025. This helps the district save about $4M in local tax dollars.
