The Van Vleck School Board has decided to demolish the O.H. Herman Jr. High and E. Rudd Intermediate school buildings. The decision was made after a meeting held in the fall revealed that community members felt the building was unsafe and too costly to maintain. On Monday night bids for the demolition were awarded to contractors.
