Blair Ross Couey Jr., from El Campo, could face 20 years in prison for threatening a bar worker with a knife in Glen Flora about 18 months ago. He was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. After causing a disturbance at Scheller’s Bar, he fled but continued to make threats. Two days later, he was found shot twice in the chest and was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.
