Wharton’s Monterey Square recently hosted a snow event this year, thanks to volunteers and sponsors and Ice Express of Houston. Families enjoyed snowball fights, music, food, and a visit from Santa. Safety was ensured by local high school students. Vendors offered treats and gifts, and a face-painting station added to the fun. The event was such a hit that funding and volunteers are already lined up for next year.
