Kelli Bannert, a resident of Burr, is organizing a pet food drive to support local animal shelters this holiday season. She started this tradition about five years ago by wrapping gifts and donating the proceeds to various shelters. The drive will run until Christmas. Donations can be dropped off at 412 Sunny Ln. in Wharton or at B&S Services in Boling.
