Joycelyn Henderson, a former Citizen of the Year in El Campo, passed away at 101. Born in Australia, she met her husband, Paul Henderson, during World War II while working as a dental assistant. They moved to the U.S. in 1945. Henderson was deeply involved in her community and was honored as El Campo’s Most Outstanding Citizen in 1974.
