Two years after a bank robbery in East Bernard, suspect 63 year old Robert Ross Pullum Jr. was arrested thanks to DNA evidence. He allegedly threatened bank employees with a fake bomb and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was harmed. Pullum was transported to the Wharton County Jail. He is also a suspect in another bank robbery in Colorado County.
