Saturday night, a man was arrested and charged with the death of 16-year-old Lizbeth Medina in Edna. The police, along with Texas Rangers, arrested Rafae Romero. Edna Police Chief Rick Boone is confident Romero is responsible, stating they received a confession. Romero, a 23-year-old undocumented migrant from Mexico, was charged with murder. Lizbeth was found dead in her apartment’s bathtub by her mother on Tuesday night.
