Victoria Police confirmed a link between Amanda Stevenson’s disappearance and a man, Kevin Bennetsen, who fatally shot himself during a traffic stop. Bennetsen, a known acquaintance of Stevenson and a ride-share driver, was initially interviewed and later stopped for a re-interview when he took his own life.
