Former Matagorda County judge, Nate McDonald, is pursuing a new career as a pickleball player, aiming for a national championship. He and his partner, Jim Mika, are set to compete today in the USA Pickleball National Championships in Dallas in the 65-70 age group with a 3.5 rating.
